garlic

The vegetables grown at MERLE are mostly onions such as garlic and chives.

Every year, around the end of September, we mow the grass in the field, plow it into the soil, and plant the garlic cloves that will become seeds.

This year, we planted them a week later than last year.

I planted them yesterday morning, October 1st, and this is how they look this morning.

I will be sharing updates on the fields and garden little by little from now on.
